Page Links To — Download from WordPress Plugin Directory

What it does:

  • “Allows you to point WordPress pages or posts to a URL of your choosing. Good for setting up navigational links to non-WP sections of your site or to off-site resources.”
  • Need a link to your catalog and/or databases in the navigation bar? This will do it. Take a look at the navigation bar on Green Tree Library sample site.

How it works:

  • Once the plugin is activated, you’ll see a new options box on the Page editing screens.
  • Enter the text you want on the navigation box in the title field.
  • Don’t bother with any content for the page since that page won’t actually be displayed.
  • In the Page Links To options box, enter the URL for the site you want to be redirected to.
  • Includes an option to open that link in a new window.
  • When the page is published, you should see a new link in the navigation bar that will take you to that other web site.

Notes:

  • Use the My Page Order plugin to rearrange the order of the navigation buttons.
